Juergen Klopp: Mohamed Salah tests negative for COVID-19, set to return to Liverpool training
Liverpool manager Juergen Klopp said that the team’s forward Mohamed Salah, who missed 3-0 Premier League victory over Leicester City on Sunday after tested positive for COVID-19, has now tested negative and will return to training.
While on international duty with Egypt last week, Mohamed Salah tested positive for the Covid-19.
Juergen Klopp disclosed that’s what he heard, the test result returned negative, and Salah is pretty normal in all the testing from now on. They have UEFA testing on Monday, and he is pretty sure that Salah will be in it.
He added that Salah can train with them, and there are two tests in the next 2 days, so he will be tested again.
Juergen Klopp also announced that the team’s midfielder Naby Keita had suffered a hamstring injury in the match against Leicester City, joining defenders Virgil van Dijk, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Joe Gomez on the injury list.
