Rohit Sharma, the IPL’s most productive captain, has led Mumbai Indians team to four titles, winning a record five in all. He was the first Indian player to score a T20 hundred, in 2007 he made a 45-ball 101 not out in a total of 145 for 5 way back, and later the same year was one of the players of India’s T20 World Cup success.
Only Virat Kohli surpasses his 2773 runs in T20Is and his four hundreds are the most among other players. Besides that, he also is the IPL’s third-highest run-getter. Sharma is a batsman who always likes to build and then accelerates once in, he has been effective batting both at the top and middle of the order. He also has a hat-trick in the IPL, though he’s been bowled in a T20 match for over five years.

Russell is a power-hitter, hit-the-deck bowler, and gun fielder, he is the T20 cricket serial winner. The allrounder won twice in the T20 World Cup, the CPL twice in 2013 and 2016 with Jamaica Tallawahs, the BPL in 2016-17 with Dhaka Dynamites and in 2019-20 with Rajshahi Royals. Besides that, he also won the IPL with Kolkata Knight Riders in 2014, the BBL with Sydney Thunder in 2016, and the PSL with Islamabad United in 2016.
A great-impact player who also leaves him vulnerable to injury, Russell received the Player-of-the-Tournament award of IPL in 2015 and 2019, the 2016 CPL, and the latest one at the BPL, where he led the Royals to win the championship, and was also the Player of the Final. His greatest all-round individual performance – and perhaps the best for any cricketer – achieved in the 2018 CPL, following a hat-trick against Trinbago Knight Riders with a 40-ball century – the fastest in the tournament. It’s his ability to hit sixes which stands out at any point.
Currently, Russell is 52nd on the run-scoring charts for the T20, but is already in fifth spot for six times. Among batsmen with over 1000 T20 runs, his 171.29 strike rate is the highest by a distance (the second highest is 161.23 from Colin de Grandhomme).
