The Salt Pond Breakers, led by the unstoppable Sunil Ambris, took on the Grenadines Divers from Asif Hooper, who got through to the semis based on net run rate. Divers first to bat. Hooper wins the toss and decides that the way to go against Ambris and co is to set a target. Asif Hooper moves on.
The Divers have kept their wickets intact through the 2nd over. Hooper to the seventh. A good solid start for the Divers, with the low run rate being the only concern. And Hooper also punctures Ambris to drive him for four on a complete delivery.
Then Hooper goes rough on the leg side to put in the match’s first six. 21 Runs over in that and immediately, the Divers score looks much higher. Runs to Hooper and Pierre have started flowing. Another boundary from Hooper’s bat in the 5th over, again.
Hooper has climbed to 31. Captain Asif Hooper is bowled out by Strough on 32nd. The first breakthrough for Salt Pond Breakers. In swift succession, the Divers have lost their openers.
The Divers have now totally lost the initiative provided by its openers. Inspired by Strough’s over, the Salt Pond Breakers is now on top in this battle. His two overs, which yielded three wickets and only 11 runs, handed the Breakers the initiative. Shem ‘s brother Razine comes out at No 7, having taken a deep dive with the Divers innings.
Asif Hooper takes the ball for the first time, and with this wicket for the first ball, the Divers will be raring to have a go. In this over, the Salt Pond Breakers, who were the top team in the game, have dug a deep, deep hole for themselves. In celebration, Asif Hooper runs around the ground. He is chased around by the entire Divers team.

The Divers keep the pressure on the Salt Pond Breakers with their seamers keeping on pegging at troubling lines and lengths. Asif Hooper hands Razine Browne the ball over and has a word with him. The Divers are on top of this match in the halfway stage of the chase, in the unlikeliest of circumstances.
Asif Hooper is getting back to himself. Stapleton follows on from Hooper. Two sixes in that over, and the game turned again in favor of the Breakers. The equation has come down to the Breakers, who only need 21 runs off the last three overs.
