After the Central Government had provisionally given permission for the 2020 edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) to be rescheduled in the United Arab Emirates ( UAE) due to COVID-19 pandemic, the governing council of the IPL on Sunday, among other major decisions, postponed the final match to 10th November for adherence to the request of the broadcaster.

IPL 2020 will be held in the UAE from 19th September to 10th November, pending Indian Government’s clearances.
What time will the IPL 2020 matches start?
The night games will start at 7.30pm IST (6.00pm UAE time), and afternoon games will start at 3.30pm IST (2.00pm UAE time).
What are the IPL 2020 venues?
The 53-day cricket event will be played in Dubai, Sharjah and Abu Dhabi.
Was there any limit on how many players a team can carry?
The IPL governing council set a 24-player limit for each team, and allowed the use of unrestricted Covid-19 substitutes.
