Global superstars of football inspire 1xBet launches new markets
European operator 1xBet has expanded both its B2B and B2C offerings with the all new “Player vs Team” and “Player vs Player” markets.
Bettors can now wager on a player to score more goals than the entire opposition team, and bet on a player to score more goals than an opponent’s particular player.
For example, if the match is Morocco played against Portugal, a customer might place a bet on Cristiano Ronaldo to score more goals than the whole Moroccan side.
Eugene Kiryukhin, the Director for Development of International Partners of 1xBet, was quick to highlight the importance of these new features by saying that football is a game of team. But sometimes football players become superstars with their own fans, and inspiration for the young.
He added that one star footballer often organizes the whole side. And so, they thought with the help of the new markets, it would be interesting to determine players’ contribution to the overall match result.
Besides that, the firm also introduced its Bet Builder option, which allows customers to combine a few bets into one with the best odds, with markets like match result, total goals, correct score, double chance all available.
The latest additions come after 1xBet last month boosted its advertising presence when it signed a long-term deal with Tottenham Hotspur, becoming the “Official Betting Partner for Africa” of the club.
The firm will receive the coverage via the LED perimeter system at the club’s home matches, as well as a presence on the new website and digital platforms throughout the continent until 2022.
