Ellyse Perry respond ”I hope he’s paying” to Murali Vijay’s wish to have dinner with her
Batsman Murali Vijay took the headlines out of favor with India when he recently called the Aussie wonder Ellyse Perry as one of the two people he would like to go out for dinner as part of an interview while isolated from the coronavirus crisis.
But the response that raised the most eyebrows was when the 36-year-old was asked about the two cricketers he wants to go for dinner.
Perry responded hilariously: “I hope he pays.”
“That’s very kind of him. I am flattered,’ said the 29-year-old.
Though it was no surprise, he caught fans’ attention by picking Teammate and colleague, Shikhar Dhawan, the Australian women’s star Perry.
Meanwhile, Perry suggests the Australian women’s team could be the first side to restart cricket.
Around the start of the summer, the Southern Stars will go ahead with their tour of Trans-Tasman rivals New Zealand if travel privileges are applied for athletes between the two nations.
“It could be that either the Aussie women’s team or the Women’s Big Bash League (WBBL) will be the first cricket to re-start. I think that there is a lot of room in that, “Perry was mentioned in the Australian Associated Press as saying.
