CWAB Prompted DPL to Resume after Eid holiday
The Cricket Welfare Association of Bangladesh (CWAB) has agreed to request the Bangladesh Cricket Board Committee to resume the Dhaka Premier Division of the Cricket League with an effective safety guide after Eid-ul-itr holiday. The CWAB Management Committee, which was created to support citizens in this period of coronavirus pandemic, organized an online video conference on Saturday afternoon.
According to a press release, CWAB President Naimur Rahman Durjoy MP, current Test Team Captain Mominul Haque, former Captain Akram Khan, former Captain Habibul Bashar, current ODI Team Captain Tamim Iqbal, Deputy President Khaled Mahmud Sujon and other senior cricketers attended the video conference.
The decision was also taken to help former cricketers at the cricket organizers, ground staff, district level, coaches, umpires scorers under the CWAB Nahashta Fund during this time of the coronavirus pandemic, along with generals who are affected in this time of crisis.
