In International cricket, Afridi participated in 83 matches (1 Test, 38 ODIs, and 44 T20Is) under his own captaincy; the most Afridi played under any captain. He has played a total of 76 International matches (70 ODIs, 6 T20Is) under Misbah-ul-Haq.
