[IPL]- Bhuvneshwar Kumar trolls his captain David Warner with a savage reply
Without international cricket activities in the middle of the lockout time, cricketers have resorted to social media interactions to entertain themselves and fans around the world. Captain of Sunrisers David Warner has launched an interview program, Warner’s Corner, where he invites and interviews one of the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) players. The program is run by the franchise’s official Instagram handle, David Warner.
Bhuvneshwar Kumar hilariously trolled his Sunrisers Hyderabad teammate David Warner during a live session on Instagram. During their interaction, Warner brought up a hypothetical scenario where India plays Australia in the final of the T20 World Cup, where Warner faces Bhuvi in the final ball of the match, with the last ball needing a boundary off.
Warner also added that he believes Kumar should bowl a knuckleball as that would be hard to hit for a boundary, given that the MCG boundaries are enormous. Having listened to this question, Kumar gave his IPL captain a savage answer.
Bhuvneshwar said, “I don’t think I’d have the last bowl because I’m going to get you out in the first over.” Warner chuckled after hearing his response, and afterward, the 2 players had an enjoyable interaction. The clip of the interview has been uploaded via Sunrisers Hyderabad’s official Twitter account.
The two players have played for the franchise since 2014. Kumar had been the franchise’s vice-captain last season. In certainty, when Kane Williamson, the regular skipper, was injured and not playing, he led the team in some matches. Warner expected to lead the SRH for the IPL 2020 again, after not leading the team in the 2019 season.
