Blackjack is a skill and strategy game and not just chance. Like any other casino game, by using such playing and betting strategies, it is possible to raise the odds in Blackjack to your favour.
BASIC STRATEGY
Simple Blackjack strategy is a set of rules for various hand types that tell you when to strike, stand, break or double down to maximize your winning chances.
The rules of play in Blackjack bind the dealer: The dealer must stand on 17, start drawing if a hand is less than 17, and stand until the number is 17 to 21.
In contrast to the dealer, a player has the freedom to decide what to do with each hand. To improve winning chances, players should follow something called “simple strategy.”
In Blackjack, if you learn basic strategy, you will always know the right move.

DOUBLING DOWN
In Blackjack, you can “double down” your bet if you believe your hand has a good chance of beating the dealer.
You increase your bet by 100% to double down. You’re only allowed to take one more card when you do to try and make a winning hand – no more than that.
When do you want to double down? With 8, 9, 10, and 11 hard hands and 13 (A-2) to 18 (A-7) soft hands.
SPLITTING
For Blackjack, they are permitted to break into different hands if a player is dealt a pair of identically graded first cards, known as a pair.
If you break, two more cards – one for each new hand – are dealt to you, and you will double your bet, one for each hand as well.
When is it that you split? Fundamental rules are: always split with pairs, aces, and 8s. Always split with 10s and 5s.
