[IPL]- Tamim Iqbal said Mahmudullah deserve playing in the IPL
The stat of Mahmudullah’s career is not very pleasant. There are no 5-6 thousand runs alongside the name or several decades. Nonetheless, the team’s value of Mahmudullah has emerged in Tamim Iqbal’s speech. Bangladesh’s most successful batsman said everyone in the team is proud of him, as Mahmudullah has played selflessly for the team.
Tamim Iqbal felt that Mahmadullah deserved to play in IPL, which kept at a Rs 75 lakh base price, went unsold as no franchise picked him during the Indian Premier League auctions. Over the past few years, Tamim has also cited his form and said Mahmadullah was in good form.
Tamin said they only value 70-80 or a century in the country. Mahmadullah is unfortunate; the innings of 30-35 runs that he has may not be appreciated, but his teammates will know how important his 30-35 innings are. Those innings are more critical in some cases than the 70-80 runs. He’s so proud of Mahmadullah, the teammates who are here, his 30-40 runs and play selflessly, changing to the situation on the wicket.
Mahmadullah is also a great bowler who got 102 wickets in T20Is at a 7.09 economy. He is also third in the list of top run-scorers in BPL history, having scored 1,820 runs at an average of 26.76 with nine-fifties.
Iqbal did not play a match, despite being bought by IPL franchise Pune Warriors. He is the second-highest run-getter in BPL, and he accumulated 396 runs from 12 games with three half-centuries in his last season for the Dhaka Platoons.
