[IPL]- Harbhajan Singh talks about how dismissing Ricky Ponting was not a big deal for him
Recently Harbhajan Singh is in a live chat session with his former Indian and Mumbai Indian teammate Rohit Sharma, Harbhajan Singh opened up that when they were teammates in Mumbai Indians (MI), he continued the dominance against Ricky Ponting.
In the info Singh revealed is that even during net practice, he dismissed the former Australia captain. This goes back to the time when Mumbai Indians appointed Ricky Ponting to play for them.
He says the Australia player has expected to improve during net practice and work on his technique. Regrettably, the Indian spinner brought him out about 5 to 6 times during that time.
In reply to this, Rohit Sharma says this is possible because Ponting lack of confidence facing Singh because of the previous International series. Singh has dismissed Ricky Ponting many times.
Ponting is currently the coach for Delhi Capitals, an Indian Premier League team. Ponting has scored over 13,300 runs in Test Cricket during his career. He is also second to Sachin Tendulkar in terms of the highest runs in red-ball cricket.
